Demo-laugh

Democracy- the rule of the people, rule by the people, rule for the people..

Abraham Lincoln outlined it as the Government of the people, by the people, for the people.

But in case of India which is the largest democracy of the world, the statement still seems unrealistic.

In spite of having largest democracy, the country is not able to realise it's true essence.
We enjoy popular sovereignty i.e where people rule and is in authority. But here it's just for namesake, because the people have to choose best from worsts (the representatives). Because no righteous man or party come into this arena, to serve the people.  Despite of having so many criminal charges the persons are allowed to contest elections and such persons end up sitting in Parliament.

The candidates and political parties don't have any intention to work for the welfare of citizens and solely want power.
No honest and principled man is seen as a representative. And if someone tries to be he/she is driven off.

The people are cheated by those leaders.
Those leaders influence people votes in their favour by illegal means and manipulation.

However, only after every five years they remember the citizens and do tempting and inviting promises to get power, which are never fulfilled.

The main reason behind this is the country's low literacy rate. People aren't aware about their rights and duties, and the Constitution.

Villages are underdeveloped with kuchha roads, lack of teachers in schools, no electricity, kilometres away secondary schools, colleges and hospitals.
Even though spending crores of money by the government, the dream for a better rural life is beyond the bounds of possibility.
Other factors like poverty, overpopulation and the most terrific one i.e Corruption, is leading to malfunctioning of Democracy.

Governments have come and went, and the country is celebrating more than 70 years of its  independence but the people are still not free from the chains of poverty and other loopholes.

Pre independence foreigners were ruling this sacred land and today it's own selfish minds. Same story repeats just people have changed their lifestyle.

Democracy was established to give every Indian it's rights and opportunities.

But it's restricted to handful of people having guileful mind.
Large-scale of people even today are under the bound of those in power, being helpless.

Tragic tale

Tragedy is just not a suffering state.
But it's much more than that.
It's not a misfortune.
But it's a fortune to discover,
What, why and how
this unpredictable journey go.

Even history is a witness
that a tragedy uproars
to bring remarkable changes.

Tragedy take away lives
So as it gives a new life.
It takes away hope
But give determined goals
It takes away everything
But helps to realise the
real potential and opportunities.

It's a symbol of reform
It's a mark  of charisma
It's an emblem of robustness
to rule the world.

Tragedy decides the future.
A tragedy is a game changer.

Wrathful - "I"

I'm as human as you're
Don't judge me as
a boy or girl..
I'm a soul within the body
Don't class me
as  a white or black..
I'm an opinion!
Don't infer me
as Hindu or Christian
I'm a voice!
Don't deduce me
as a -"ist"
I'm a profession!
Don't assess me
as a caste...
I'm the way I live..
Don't label me
as an uncivilised..
I'm the culture!
Don't consider me as
an orthodox..
I am an individual....
A single only one of me!!

Wondering 'I'

Pondering about, working upon
things which I wanna achieve
I encountered a harsh reality of life
It is easier said than done!
It's easy to pinpoint someone
It's easy to talk of others
For their behaviour, character and thoughts...
Although it's too hard to realise for ownself
What we give to others, first
Must be implied to our ownself...
What we expect should be
Prompted by the 'I' we're!

Mistakes are not foolish
But it's a learning to accommodate
this beautiful 'I'
Realising your true essence

It's always hard to get something
That you're not into
Although you wanna be
That' the destiny
But one and only
Your efforts and firm belief
would do the magic....
And you'll see the
Silver lining to your 'I' cloud....🎊🎆

Gandhi:An idiosyncratic Human

M.K Gandhi, the man of words, who is recognised as " Mahatama" , meaning- the great soul, was not so. He was actually much more a human.

He had his beliefs, opinions and desires for this world just like any other human.Just the difference is that he never dread to make mistakes and never worried to accept them. He always learnt from his mistakes and made a promise not to repeat those.
Just like any other human being he made many mistakes in life but always accepted it and made a point to not repeat them.
This quality of Gandhi make him distinct to others.
The truth is that he practiced what he learnt from this world but we humans don't follow the values which this mother nature teaches us.
He was honest to himself, family and country as well.
He was the man of principles, values and regards. He was the person to tell right to what is right and feasible for others.

He was the preacher of truth and non violence. He saw the entire world as one.

He followed only one religion i.e of humanity and brotherhood. He had high regards for every religion and saw the core idea of each as same.

He was great time saviour and knew every second is crucial. Being a lawyer he never liked his profession and fellowmates. Because according to him it only exploited the poor and weaker sections.

He was against Railway and other technological developments because he knew very well the physical strength given by God to human beings.
He believed that  these developments will ruine the human nature.

He supported and was a firm believer of rural development. He promoted indigenous products and textile. As he saw the country's progress in rural growth.
Which is very true in today's world in case of India.

Many critics have called him as being conservative, but a person who intensely loved and respected the diverse culture of India why wouldn't worry when his own countryman disregard their prestigious and unique culture, accepting the western culture.

It's an irony that what he criticized about English and British during preindependence  and the civilization they brought, is excessively being practiced in his own country, by his own countryman.

It's a harsh reality that the mother India gave birth to such a person but his existence has become only a story, his principles and beliefs is limited to books which no one or his young generation wants to read.
It's certain that if we could explore this person and his visions for india we would be able to solve every issue our country is facing today. But it's sad that the person who is worship around the world is disregarded in his own motherland.

I am an Angel..😇👸. A short Poem..

I am an Angel
I can understand your silence,
I can know your feelings
Upon your expression,
I can figure out the intensity ...
of Your words,
showing your emotions..
I can see your loneliness
Despite of being so many relations..
I am a strength, a power to
Curb misery of ur life
I am your smile and happiness..
I am the entrance of
New opportunities,
I'm the one who tells- who you are & for,
I'm the creation of the sacred soul
Who's there for everyone
Around it

But it's too 💓 breaking... that
Solitary, cloistered and confined
It is when it comes to
its own life....

So unkind and selfish
the world (humans) could be
Is proved...
